<abstract displayLabel="Summary">This book consists of two parts, with two Appendices: vocabulary and taxonomy in part one, and the national overviews in part two. Part two describe a series of national systems in force in the country or part of the country as of september 1992. Each overview is written by experts in the particular national system, in either English or French. Authors of the overviews were asked to comply with the same strict arrangement of liability and insurance issues. Appendix A shows this arrangement given in extenso: (1) practicioners' liability, (2) property insurance and (3) liability and professional indemnity insurance</abstract>
