<abstract displayLabel="Summary">España tiene actualmente en tramitación parlamentaria lo quepodemos denominar La reforma de la Ley de Auditoría de Cuentas, que supone un avance importante para el ejercicio de la profesión y su adaptación a la Octava Directiva (2006). Los aspectos más relevantes que aparecen en la Directiva tienen que ser transpuestos, son conocidos y los hemos desarrollado, dentro de un enfoque armonizado de los requisitos y condiciones que se exigen para su ejercicio en el ámbito de la Unión Europea, incluyendo la existencia de un sistema de supervisión público que sea homologable en todos los países miembros.
