<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La crisis económica afecta a la siniestralidad y a la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. La cifra absoluta de accidentes de trabajo disminuye porque se reduce el número de puestos de trabajo.Por el contrario, el empleo se convierte en un bien social y las plantillas asumen condiciones laborales que no aceptarían en mejores circunstancias. Sucede lo mismo con los que se mueven dentro de la economía sumergida, al alza. Algunas empresas ponen como excusa la crisis para reducir su inversión en seguridad o para reclamar marcos legales más cómodos.</abstract>
