<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En 2004, MAPFRE ingresó 10.756 millones de euros y tuvo un beneficio antes de impuestos de 847 millones. Siete años después, dobla esas cifras, con ingresos de 23.530 millones y beneficio bruto de 1.637 millones. La subida de ingresos creció un 14,9% frente a 2010 y las primas aumentaron incluso más, un 15,5% hata 19.600 millones. El beneficio neto de 2011 llegó a 963 millones con un incremento del 3,2%, en "un entorno muy difícil", como señaló José Manuel Martínez en su última presentación de resultados como presidente de MAPFRE, cargo que asumirá Antonio Huertas el 10 de marzo</abstract>
