<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En este artículo se pretenden describir las modificaciones más significativas recogidas en la nueva norma UNE 23500, publicada con fecha enero de 2012, sobre los "Sistemas de abastecimiento de agua contra incendios", y hacer una comparativa con la anterior norma publicada en marzo de 1990. Hay que reseñar que la nueva norma aglutina diversos contenidos de esta última y del capítulo sobre el abastecimiento de agua de la norma UNE 12845, sobre rociadores, de manera que algunos artículos coinciden de forma exacta, haciéndolas más compatibles. </abstract>
