<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La directiva europea que establece las disposiciones mínimas de salud y seguridad relativas a la exposición de los trabajadores a los campos electromagnéticos fue publicada en el diario oficial de la Unión Europea en fecha de 26 de junio de 2013. La fecha límite de transposición a legislación nacional es el 1 de julio de 2016, según consta en el artículo 16. Los primeros países en publicar sus leyes nacionales han sido Suecia, Finlandia, Austria, Países Bajos, Bélgica, República Checa, Estonia, Letonia y Lituania. Se espera de forma inminente la publicación de leyes nacionales en los países más importantes de la Unión, entre ellos España. Es relevante, por lo tanto, que las empresas que no lo hayan hecho todavía se preparen para evaluar el cumplimiento de sus puestos de trabajo con los límites de exposición a los campos electromagnéticos (CEM) especificados en la directiva.</abstract>
