<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El Internet de las Cosas es una de las tecnologías que está llamada a revolucionar nuestro mundo, y, como tal, cada vez se le otorga una mayor relevancia en los medios de comunicación tanto especializados como generalistas. Sin emnbargo, el foco está puesto casi exclusivamente en lo que predecimos que esta tecnología nos trerá en un futuro próximo, en sus promesas; pero echamos de menos una visión de la realidad actual, una mayor definición de lo que el IoT es en la actualidad y, partiendo de esta realidad, los retos a los que se enfrenta.</abstract>
