<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: This article presents a practical case designed to teach university students the fundamental concepts of risk management through the analysis of the risks present on their own campus. The study proposes a hybrid exercise  partly completed prior to class and partly developed collaboratively during the session  that guides students in identifying, assessing, and treating the main risks faced by higher education institutions. The methodology aims to link theory with practice, encouraging critical thinking, teamwork, and the real-world application of risk management techniques. The document includes teaching guidelines, variations of the case depending on academic level, and evidence of its effectiveness in introductory risk management courses</dc:description>
