<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El documento analiza la inversión directa española en África, describiendo su evolución reciente, distribución geográfica y especialización sectorial. A partir de datos oficiales de DataInvex y organismos internacionales, se muestra la escasa relevancia del continente africano dentro del stock total de inversión española, concentrada principalmente en el norte de África. El estudio examina los flujos de inversión en 2024 y 2025, destacando su volatilidad y la influencia de desinversiones recientes. Asimismo, se revisan las iniciativas institucionales impulsadas por España y la Unión Europea para fomentar la presencia económica en África. Finalmente, se concluye que las relaciones económicas se articulan más a través del comercio que de la inversión productiva</abstract>
