<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En este artículo se ofrece una panorámica general de la situación medioambiental de España y de las perspectivas de actuaciones futuras en diferentes áreas: depuración de aguas urbanas, tratamiento de residuos industriales y recuperación de suelos contaminados, a las que los autores añaden otras no estrictamente medioambientales como la desalación, la cogeneración y la utilización de biomasa. La mayoría de las actuaciones están contenidas en planes aprobados por la Admninistración española, que contemplan también una estimación de las inversiones necesarias</abstract>
