<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: Three experiments on direction of turn stereotypes are reported for two-dimensional horizontally moving displays, three-dimensional display-control arrangements and the relationship between response times and the strenght of stereotypes. In each case, equations were written for the strength of the stereotype in terms of the direction predicted by various principles. The aim of the present work was to do this and to attempt to find relationships which might be used in any control-display relatioship to predict the likely strength of the stereotype for movement</dc:description>
