<abstract>De los distintos problemas de agencia que atañen a las estructuras de propiedad y control existentes en el sector asegurador hacen que estas se especialicen en distintas líneas de seguros junto con una mayor o menor concentración de su actividad. Cuando se analizan los canales de distribución vemos de nuevo una asociación con la estructura de propiedad y control: mientras que las sociedades anónimas propiedad privada  y externa utilizan los mediadores tradicionales las de propiedad financiera utilizan exclusivamente la banca-seguros, este último canal de distribución no es utilizado por las mutuas y filiales de mutuas que comparten los mediadores tradicionales conlas oficinas de la propia entidad</abstract>
