<abstract>El presente artículo tiene por objeto el análisis de la legitimación de las aseguradoras para el ejercicio de la acción civil dentro del proceso penal. Se analiza el proceso penal desde la perspectiva de la protección de la víctima, centrándose en los casos en los que la víctima que ha sufrido un daño en sus bienes o derechos, los tiene asegurados por una compañía aseguradora </abstract>
