<abstract>Un lugar de trabajo más sano y seguro se puede conseguir incrementando el capital salud y fomentando la sensibilización con esta materia desde la empresa. La promoción de la salud se convierte en la estrategia fundamental con medidas dirigidas a mejorar la calidad de vida de la población trabajadora. En este sentido se deben incentivar hábitos de vida saludables, así como vigilar precozmente enfermedades prevalentes como la hipertensión arterial, hiperlipemias, o lesiones de espalda</abstract>
