<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El artículo analiza la creciente importancia del Plan de Continuidad de Negocio (PCN) en las empresas, especialmente en España, como herramienta estratégica para garantizar la resiliencia ante crisis. Explica cómo la demanda de PCN ha aumentado por exigencias de aseguradoras y políticas internas, y describe la metodología para su elaboración: iniciar la planificación, realizar un análisis de impacto en el negocio, evaluar riesgos, desarrollar estrategias de respuesta y recuperación, e implementar y mantener el plan mediante formación y simulacros. Destaca la necesidad de un análisis profundo para evitar planes superficiales y la importancia de contemplar escenarios críticos como pérdida de planta, personal clave, proveedores, TI o logística. Concluye que un PCN bien estructurado es esencial para la continuidad operativa y la protección frente a eventos disruptivos.</abstract>
