<abstract>In the aftermath of September 11, Morgan Stanley missing seven employees. Having lost 1.3 million square feet of office space across twenty-four floors in Tower Two and Five World Trade Center, thirty-five hundred of its employees were displaced. Adition to the tragedy human loss, Morgan Stanley faced business disruption concerns. The World Trade Center had been the primary site for various production and techonology development platforms that provided support for the firm's retail operation. The company was about to test its business continuity plan to an extent that no one had ever imagined. The article explains this  effective plan</abstract>
