<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Las prestaciones económicas de Seguridad Social pueden verse incrementadas, entre el 30% y el 50% en caso de accidente de trabajo o de enfermedad profesional. Este recargo cumple una doble función: por un lado, preventiva, disuadiendo a los empresarios de incumplir las normas sobre seguridad y salud laboral; y, por otro, resarcitoria, para reparar los daños y perjuicios causados al trabajador </abstract>
