<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Un fenómeno inusual en nuestras latitudes, la ciclogénesis explosiva, barrió la Península Ibérica, afectando principalmente el tercio supeior y continuó su recorrido por el sur de Francia y el norte de Italia. A su paso ha producido una gran cantidad de daños materiales y personales. En España, la mayor parte de las áreas dañadas se encuentran en Galicia, la costa cantábrica y Cataluña, aunque también se han registrado daños en municipios del sistema central y de Levante</abstract>
