<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Durante la primera década de este nuevo milenio la historiografía económica latinoamericana ha experimentado un evidente crecimiento. Se han creado plataformas estables de debate y encuentros regulares de investigadores y académicos a lo largo del continente. Los congresos de Historia Económica de América Latina celebrados en Uruguay (2007) y México (2010) constituyen buena prueba de ello.</abstract>
