<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La evolución de los vertederos ha pasado de la falta total de gestión, a un vertido controlado y técnicamente establecido según el tipo de residuo a depositar, hasta el momento actual en que el objetivo se centra en la minimización del volumen de vertido, consecuencia de las pautas y obligaciones de reciclado, reutilización y revalorización. Las pautas de futuro pueden seguirse en la nueva Ley 22-2011, de 28 de julio, de residuos y suelos contaminados. En ella se proporcionan los instrumentos que, haciendo plausible la producción de residuos con el deseable crecimiento económico, permiten mejorar la prevención, con el fin de reducir los impactos adversos sobre el medio ambiente y la salud humana de los residuos finales generados</abstract>
