In emerging economies, the possibility of such industrial hygiene/environmental catastrophes can arguably be greater, given their spectacularly fast economic and infrastructure growth, often nascent infrastructure, evolving regulatory standards, cultural and language differences, and still developing disaster response services. </subfield>
