Sin embargo, fue sólo recién con la crisis subprime en 2008 cuando las palabras "supervisión", "riesgos" y "conducta de mercado', se pusieron de moda. Mucho antes de eso, hace ya diez años, los aseguradores en Chile sintieron que era necesario ir más a fondo en materia de protección a los consumidores y autorregulación, adelantándose a los tiempos.
