<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Como parte del programa de Microseguros para Latinoamérica y el Caribe, se llevó a cabo en la Ciudad de México una conferencia de prensa el pasado 13 de agosto, en la que estuvo presente Mercedes Araoz, Representante del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo en México (BID). También participaron Alberto Bucardo, especialista del Fondo Multilateral de Inversiones; Rafael González, director general de HIR; Martha Gómez, directora de Negocio Corporativo, de MAPFRE; Alejandro Mayorga, director Affinity and Sponsor de ZURICH; y Michael Schitek, director de seguros masivos de ATLAS. Recaredo Arias, Secretario General de la Federación lnteramericana de Empresas de Seguros (FIDES), que presidió el evento, nos ha acercado una síntesis de lo tratado en la conferencia. </abstract>
