<abstract displayLabel="Summary">MAPFRE incrementó en 2012 sus ingresos en un 7,5%, hasta los 25.301,2 millones de euros, gracias al buen comportamiento del negocio exterior, sobre todo en Brasil y EEUU. Las primas superaron los 21.579 millones, un 10,1% más. El beneficio atribuible asciende a 665,7 millones, un 30,9% menos, por las provisiones y deterioros, que ascendieron a 404,8 millones, ya que el beneficio recurrente (propio de  la actividad aseguradora) crece un 9,6% hasta 942 millones, lo que, según la compañía, "refleja la solidez del grupo, cuyos fondos propios subieron en más de 750 millones, hasta 7.810,5 millones'</abstract>
