<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Han pasado varias semanas desde que el 23 de junio los británicos decidieran apoyar por un estrecho margen de cuatro puntos (51,9% frente a 48,1%) la salida del Reino Unido de la Unión Europea (opción popularmente conocida como Brexit). Son muchas las incógnitas e incertidumbres que plantea el resultado del referendum para un mercado como el de los seguros donde la industria (re)aseguradora británica, la normativa comunitaria y las autoridades supervisoras europeas juegan un papel crucial. A continuación se dan unas pinceladas sobre el procedimiento de salida, las distintas opciones del Reino Unido para encauzar su futura relación con la UE y algunas de las eventuales consecuencias del Brexit.</abstract>
