Though the total of 18 named storms in 2024 is above average, it falls short of extremely active years like 2005 and 2020. With the 2024 season ending on Nov. 30, a team of researchers at FM, led by ResearchDirector of Climate Risk & Resilience Dr. Angelika Werner, is poring over data to develop keytakeaways and resilience lessons.
