They focus on insurance bought by individual, corporate, business, public sector and not-for-profit customers and exclude personal and commercial health and life insurance and other forms of employee benefits, as well as personal accident cover. They also exclude reinsurance, wholesale insurance and income generated by brokers from underwriting or from intermediating non-insurance financial products, as well as revenue earned through consulting activities. This report concentrates on revenues earned by brokers in each country, not from their foreign subsidiaries.
