The Effect of age on the architecture of psychological and cognitive dimensions : a network perspective / Stefano Vicentin...[et al.]Sumario: The article analyzes how relationships among cognitive, psychological, and personality variables change across adulthood using a psychometric network analysis approach. Using data from the Human Connectome Project, networks corresponding to young, middle-aged, and older adults are compared. The results show a progressive reorganization of cognitive functions and a greater integration between cognition, mental health, and personality traits at older ages. Additionally, significant differences are observed in network architecture and in the global strength of associations across age groups.
