<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Las previsiones podían hacer sospechar que los aeropuertos españoles se iban a ver sobrepasados en su capacidad en muy poco tiempo, pero quizá lo que nadie se hubiera podido imaginar es que ese tiempo iba a ser tan corto. La saturación de los aeropuertos no es preocupante sólo por lo que de mala imagen e incomodidades lleva consigo, sino porque genera un problema mucho más peligroso; a mayor cantidad de gente y mayores aglomeraciones y descontrol, la inseguridad aumenta de forma alarmante. Un aeropuerto concentra actividades de todo tipo, que pueden ser propias de cualquier otro recinto, pero que también se encuentra en un aeropuerto, sumándose a su ya inherente complejidad. Mientras estas actividades aumentan y también lo hace el número de personas que participan en ellas, el riesgo crece y los usuarios pueden llegar a encontrarse desprotegidos e indefensos ante una situación lejana a lo que debería ser el principio de un alto vuelo.</abstract>
