<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En este artículo se exponen una técnica analítica utilizada para la identificación de acelerantes en residuos de incendios, lo cual permite detectar presencia o ausencia de intencionalidad en dichos siniestros. Se trata de detectar la presencia de acelerantes, tales como la gasolina, el gasoil y la esencia de trementina, a través de una selección de muestras de incendios. Se emplea un cromatógrafo para determinar posteriores formas de análisis,tratamiento y detección de sus componentes</abstract>
