<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Lors des opérations industrielles de soudure, les salariés sont exposés aux émanations de pyrolyse de la colophane et de ses additifs. Les produits formés présentent des propriétés irritantes pour les muqueuses oculaires et respiratoires, propriétés attribuées essentiellement aux aldéhydes. Aussi l'INRS a procédé à la recherche et à la quantification des aldéhydes dans les fumées dégagées lors de la pyrolyse des flux de soudage en laboratoire à 250º C et 400º C et en milieu industriel. Le formaldéhyde, polluant principal incriminé dans le mécanisme d'action toxicologique de ces fumées, ne constitue en fait qu'un traceur intéressant par les possibilités analytiques disponibles</abstract>
