<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Un programme de vaccination contre l'hépatite B a été réalisé au Centre hospitaler universitaire de Rouen dans les années 80. Le taux moyen de participation du personnel (55,8%) a été comparé à la séro-prévalence correspondante selon les différents critères: l'âge, le sexe, l'ancienneté, la catégorie professionnelle et le service d'affectation. On a ainsi pu mettre en évidence deux attitudes cohérentes: participation et risque tous deux élevés ou tous deux faibles, et deux attitudes discordantes: participation élevés avec un risque faible et inversement. Le personnel le plus jeune et /ou le plus récemment employé avait le taux de participation le plus élevé. l'étude par catégories professionnelles a montré que le personnel le moins qualifié avait une participation faible malgré un risque non négligeable. Lorsqu'une mesure de prévention est fondée sur le volontariat, l'information ne doit pas être indiférenciée mais ciblée, intensifiée et adaptée notamment aux groupes considérés comme à risque élevé</abstract>
