<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El proceso que se sigue para hacer llegar el agua potable a los hogares no está exento de riesgos para los trabajadores que desarrollan esta actividad. Este artículo quiere contribuir un poco más a dar a conocer estos riesgos y recoger una serie de procedimientos y de normas que pudieran hacer estos trabajos más seguros. El autor destaca cinco riesgos: la posible exposición al cloro por parte de los trabajadores, los peligros propios en la ejecución de zanjas, los riesgos de las instalaciones eléctricas provisionales en obra, los propios del manejo mecánico de los tubos y los riesgos higiénicos a los que quedan expuestos los trabajadores que realizan operaciones de corte sobre tuberías de fibrocemento</abstract>
