<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La Directiva 91/414/CEE tiene por objeto la autorización, comercialización, utilización y control en la Comunidad Europea de productos fitosanitarios en su presentación comercial y la comercialización y el control de sustancias activas destinadas a usos fitosanitarios. Mediante dicha directiva se trata de garantizar que la utilización eficaz de produtos fitosanitarios, con el objetivo de mejorar la producción vegetal, no perjudique la protección de la salud humana y animal, ni del medio ambiente. En el presente artículo se ha realizado un resumen de la directiva destacando los aspectos relacionados con la salud y seguridad en el trabajo, especialmente con la evaluación del riesgo por exposición laboral, así como el estado de trasposición al ordenamiento jurídico español</abstract>
