Título: Task analysis for error identification : a methodology for designing error-tolerant consumer products / C. Baber and N.A. StantonAutor: Baber, C.
Notas: Sumario: The authors have described a methodology which combines hierarchical task analysis (HTA) with state space diagrams (SSDs) to highlight possible points of human error in the use of products. Task analysis for error identification (TAFEI) can be used on a range of products, and may be used for both design and evaluation. The method is still in its infancy and obviously needs further work, particulary in terms of validation and development of measures of more complex activity. The authors believe that TAFEI can be used to allow a structured investigation into the problems of human error in human-product systems, so long as the "co-operative endeavour" involve linear operational sequences. The method combines a description of the functionality of product with the purposeful behaviour of a human user, and allows us to define possible failure paths in the use of the productRegistros relacionados: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 37, nº 11, November 1994 ; p. 1923-1941Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Productos Productos peligrosos Identificación de riesgos Error humano Métodos de evaluación Comportamiento del consumidor Otros autores: Stanton, N.A.
