<abstract>La ceremonia de los Intranets de oro organizada el día 26 de Octubre por la CEGOS y "Entreprise et Carrières" demostró la creciente importancia que tienen los sistemas intranets en materia de gestión de recursos humanos y de competencias en las empresas. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar brevemente los principales resultados de un estudio reciente que permite: identifcar los sistemas de intranets precursores e innovadores que pueden observarse en Estados Unidos y más concretamente en Silicon Valley donde se encuentran numerosas empresas punteras en el campo de las nuevas tecnologías dela información; analizar el impacto de estos sistemas sobre los usuarios finales y los cambios en términos de nuevos comportamientos y modos de organización que generan</abstract>
