<abstract>La disposición de usos y la diversidad de riesgos que componen el negocio de flotas de vehículos requiere la necesidad de una mayor especialización en su aseguramiento. Los riesgos son muy diferentes cuando se trata de camiones o autobuses, de los tipos de servicios que realicen y de las mercancías que transporten. En España, apenas existen compañías de seguros realmente especializadas en estos ramos. Cuadro: Número de vehículos comerciales y de segunda categoría asegurados en el años 2001 por el Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros al no encontrar cobertura en el sector privado</abstract>
