<abstract>El manejo de las cuestiones de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente (SSA) en las plantas químicas de procesamiento fue el tema de estudio en el proyecto europeo denominado "Small Plants - Assistance With Safety and Environment (ESPACE)". Este artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos de una encuesta realizadapoe medio de un cuestionario distribuido a algunas plantas químicas de procesamiento pequeñas en cinco países. </abstract>
