<abstract>El cuestionario da especial relevancia a los sistemas arbitrados para cubrir los daños por accidentes médicos, industriales y medioambientales. En España no existe prácticamente ningún sistema de garantía alternativo, excepto en determinados tipos de accidentes médicos infecciosos, accidentes de carácter nuclear y sobre gestión de residuos. Si bien existe una demanda social para la cobertura de los accidentes médicos y medioambientales, todavía no se conoce ningún proyecto legislativo que pueda contener un sistema de indemnización, articulado a través de Fondos o seguros obligatorios o de responsabilidad civil.</abstract>
