<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La creciente preocupación internacional por los accidentes de tráfico se hace cada día más patente. Cada año mueren en las carreteras europeas alrededor de 40.000 personas, siendo la cifra de heridos escalofriante: 1.700.000. En España la situación dista mucho de ser buena: en el año 2003 fallecieron 5.399 personas en siniestros de tráfico y 150.635 resultaron heridas de diversa consideración</abstract>
